REGISTER NOW: Half Marathon | 5K

Join us for a lovely fall run with a purpose. I Run For… brings our community together while raising funds for cancer research and other humanitarian causes.

Race start times are 7 a.m. (half marathon) and 7:10 a.m. (5K). Please note: this is one hour earlier than in the past. Start/finish is at the Town of Maine Park (2693 NYS Route 26, Maine). The full marathon will not be offered this year.

ERRS_smallOnce again, we’re part of the EMPIRE ROAD RACE SERIES. Run races, get swag. Either the half marathon or 5K count toward your series rewards. Be sure to register for the series; it’s free.

TEAM SPIRIT CHALLENGE: We know you have spirit, so get your workmates, family and/or friends together and come represent at the 2019 I Run For… Half Marathon and 5K. Instead of recognizing the team with the fastest race times, we want to offer a prize true to the spirit of “all faces, all paces.” The team that brings the most runners to our event (half marathon or 5K) will get a cool trophy and bragging rights. On top of that, we’ll give a portion of our net proceeds to the cancer-related charity of the winning team’s choice. When you register for the race, make sure to enter your group’s name, so you’ll be counted in the challenge. Discounted entries are available for groups of more than 10. Contact us at irunforhalfmarathon@gmail.com to take advantage of the discount, or if you have any other questions.

PLEASE NOTE: HEADPHONES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED AT THIS RACE! Runners who are not in compliance with this rule will be disqualified and pulled from the course with no refund of entry fee.

Race entry fees are not refundable under any condition. Entries can be transferred with permission from the race directors. Contact us if you have questions or need to transfer a bib.

“I highly recommend this race to all my friends. There is a 5k and a half marathon, and the proceeds go to cancer research! Can’t beat that!”

– Michael Foos, runner and volunteer

“We are so thankful to the I Run For… Half Marathon Organization. We know how hard you’ve worked to make your race a success, and we appreciate all you are doing to raise awareness and funds for us.”
